First Centennial Mortgage is listed as a 2022 Top IHDA Mortgage Lender by the Illinois Housing Development Authority. The company ranked #5 in the Chicagoland area which includes Boone, Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, La Salle, McHenry, and Will counties in Illinois.

Illinois newest Home Buying Incentive: "Welcome Home Illinois"

This program is the latest and greatest thing from the State of Illinois to get first time home buyers closer to home ownership. The program offers the following:

- Up to $7,500 cash assistance to cover down payment and closing costs
- 30-year fixed-rate mortgage with a below-market interest rates
- Variety of loan options to choose from, including FHA, Conv, VA, and USDA

Eligibility:

- Buyers must be first-time homebuyers or anyone who has not owned a home in the last three years.

Requirements:

- Contribute one percent or $1,000 of the purchase price, whichever is greater
- Purchase a one- or two- unit property within Illinois
- Live in property as primary residence
