I’ve noticed something over the years that most business owners don’t realize right away.

A business can be profitable.
It can feel stable.
It can even feel “successful.”

And still not actually supporting retirement.

The moment this usually becomes clear is when I ask a simple question:

“What happens if you step away for a while?”

Not permanently.
Just… step back.

If the business slows down, becomes stressful, or can’t function the same way without you, that tells you something important.

It doesn’t mean the business is bad.
It means it was built to run, not to transfer.

Most owners never see this difference until later than they planned.

Seeing it earlier gives you options.
Waiting usually takes options away.

🔥 Chicago’s $41 Billion Wake-Up Call (Share This)

Most people in Chicago have no idea what’s really happening… so let me say it plainly:

If every Chicago taxpayer wrote a check for $42,600 today… the city would barely break even.
And the pension system?
It’s 75% unfunded.
That means three out of every four dollars owed to retirees does not exist if the bill came due today.

Let that sink in.
Your friends.
Your neighbors.
Your family members working for the City…

They’re counting on a retirement system that is mathematically underwater.

This isn’t fear-mongering.
