Convention Housing Survey: TSEA Advocacy Committee needs your help. The goal of this volunteer member committee is to protect the rights of exhibitors and ensure that your voice, as an exhibitor, is heard by convention organizers, destinations, labor, suppliers, etc. TSEA has had a great deal of interest from our members and the exhibition industry as a whole concerning convention housing. Exhibitions are setting rules that put pressure on exhibiting companies to stay in the "official" show housing and charge unreasonable deposits and rates. Some organizers place penalties and fines if their exhibitor customers do not comply. By placing additional burdens on exhibitors that increase the difficulty with which exhibitors can justify their continued participation in face-to-face marketing events.
TSEA and its Advocacy Committee is asking all exhibitors, large and small, to participate in this short survey on convention housing to find out where you stand on the topic and how we may best protect you, the exhibitor.
Please be assured that all answers will be kept confidential.
