Benson has been committed to being a part of the housing solution, and a financial vehicle for the revitalization of under-served Chicago neighborhoods.She is currently a Vice-President with a national state chartered bank. Blueleaf Lending, the subsidiary of Midwest Community Bank, in Chicago, Illinois.Prior to joining Blueleaf, Benson was the Branch Manager for the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC Mortgage), where she was second in command to the entire sales and production staff for the North Central Region.
