If you are trying to get a Mortgage and have a rental unit, you would like to use the income toward that purchase .... FHA just dropped the amount u can use from 80% to 50% ... their reason people are not paying their rent .... Plus city like Chicago .. u can't evict them right away the eviction process takes up to 6 months or longer .with no money coming in from the tenets .. that why we out of the rental business in Chicago...... but renter are not finding rentals property that available .....
