When business owners want to grow, the first instinct is usually to increase sales.

More marketing.
More networking.
More leads.
But what if the real opportunity isn't making more money?
What if it's keeping more of it?

I often find hidden profit leaks like:
• Software subscriptions no one uses.
• Duplicate expenses.
• Vendor contracts that haven't been reviewed in years.
• Payroll inefficiencies. • Services priced below their true cost.

None of these seem significant on their own.

Together?
They quietly drain thousands of dollars each year.
Profit leaks hide in plain sight.

Before chasing more revenue, ask yourself one question:
"Am I protecting the profit I've already earned?"

What's one recurring business expense you've been meaning to review?

Successful businesses don't grow because they guess better.
They grow because they measure better.

Every month your financial reports answer questions like:
• Where are profits increasing?
• Which expenses are growing too quickly?
• Is cash flow improving?
• Are pricing decisions supporting long-term growth?

Data becomes valuable when it changes decisions.

That's when numbers stop feeling intimidating and start becoming one of your greatest business assets.

Want greater visibility into your business? Let's talk about what your financial reports are really saying. Let's create your roadmap to clarity together. Use this link: https://bit.ly/4y5g4Ef to learn more.

"I've been busy all year... why doesn't it feel like I'm making money?"
I hear this more often than you might think.

Here's what usually happens.
Revenue increases.
Expenses increase even faster.
Margins quietly shrink.
Cash flow becomes tighter.

From the outside, the business looks successful.
Inside, it feels stressful.

That's why I always say:
Revenue is only chapter one.
The rest of the story lives inside your financial reports.

When you understand what your numbers are actually saying, you stop making decisions based on assumptions and start making decisions with confidence.
Visibility creates confidence.

If you're ready to understand what your numbers are trying to tell you, let's start the conversation. Use this link to book a clarity call: https://bit.ly/4y5g4Ef.

You can't manufacture this kind of spirit.

We managed to catch this raw, unscripted moment on video. My niece asked my 90-year-old father who was going to "win" the Boston Marathon.

Without missing a beat, he just points to himself.

And when she laughs, he delivers the punchline with a straight face: "If they don't let me win, they're out of the will."

This is him. This is the humor, the wit, and the unstoppable determination that's driving this entire adventure. He's not just going to Boston; he's going to win it, his way.

The support so far has been incredible. The Boston Harbor Hotel is helping us create a true champion's welcome. We're talking to running stores. The author of the book that inspired him is helping us make connections.

The "Mile Marker Moments" campaign is in full swing. We're collecting video messages to surprise him with along the route. Your messages are what will truly make him feel like a winner.

The Ask is Simple: If this 90-year-old's spirit made you smile, take 30 seconds and make a video to cheer him on.

Email your videos to: [email protected]

Let's give him the hero's welcome he's already claimed for himself.

The dream is becoming a plan.
Last week, I told you about my 90-year-old Dad’s wish to "complete" the Boston Marathon. The support was overwhelming, and now, things are moving fast.

My brother, who knows Boston well, has booked the flights. The hotel is set. The dates are locked.

September 1st: Travel to Boston. September 2nd: Marathon Day. September 3rd: See the sights. September 4th: Travel home.

This is officially happening. And because of a brilliant idea from my niece, we’re going to make "Marathon Day" more than just a drive. We’re creating "Mile Marker Moments."

The plan is to surprise Dad at each "mile marker" of the route with a message of love and encouragement from the people in his life. He has no idea this is coming.

This is where I need your help to create a wave of support for him.

THE REQUEST: Would you be willing to record a short video message (30-60 seconds) or write a letter for my Dad?
It can be a simple "We're cheering for you from [Your City]!", a fond memory, or a word of encouragement. Every single message will be a surprise gift he receives along the 26.2-mile journey.

HOW TO SEND IT: Please email your video file, letter, or written message to: [email protected]

My family and I are building this beautiful experience for him, and your contribution will make it truly unforgettable. Thank you for being part of his story and helping us honor a 90-year-old man who still believes in chasing down a dream

One of the biggest misconceptions I see is business owners using their bank balance to decide how their business is performing.

Money in the account feels reassuring.
Until payroll is due.
Or quarterly taxes arrive.
Or a large invoice finally gets paid.

Your financial reports tell a much bigger story.
They reveal:
• Which services are actually profitable.
• Where expenses are quietly increasing.
• Whether your cash flow is healthy.
• How sustainable your growth really is.

Your numbers already know the answer.
The question is whether you're listening.

Financial clarity begins with curiosity, not perfection.

What financial report do you review most often? Let me know below, or if the answer is "none," let's change that.

You don’t have to carry this into another quarter.
A new quarter is a chance for a strategic reset.

Every quarter, many founders promise themselves they'll finally get a handle on the numbers. But they get busy, and the same "Financial Technical Debt" rolls over, accumulating more interest. The same profit leaks continue to drain the business.

Financially disciplined businesses don't hope the next quarter is better. They execute a Quarterly Financial Reset.

It’s a deliberate process to:
• Review the past 90 days of performance against goals.
• Identify and plug the profit leaks that emerged.
• Create a data-backed strategic spending plan for the next 90 days.

This isn't about "catching up." It's about starting the next quarter with a clear competitive advantage.

Let’s enter the next quarter with a plan, not just a hope. DM me the word AUDIT to get the link for your 15-minute Profit Leak Diagnostic.

This is your sign to stop guessing.
Because guessing is a business strategy with a 0% success rate.

Your intuition is what got you this far. It's your superpower.

But at a certain stage of growth, relying on intuition alone isn't a strategy—it's a strategic liability.

Every time you price a new service, make a key hire, or sign a lease based on a gut feeling and a quick look at your bank balance, you're placing a high-stakes bet on your company's future.

The goal isn't to replace your intuition. It's to strengthen it with reliable data so your instincts are supported by facts. That's how gut feelings become confident, strategic decisions.

It's time to stop guessing and start knowing. DM me the word audit to get the link for your 15-minute Profit Leak Diagnostic.

Waiting feels like a neutral strategy, but it's not. It's an active choice to pay the daily tax of uncertainty.

This "inaction tax" shows up as:
• Decision fatigue: Mental energy wasted second-guessing every choice.
• Eroded confidence: The low-grade anxiety that comes from not knowing.
• Real cash: Profit leaks that continue to drain your business, unseen and unfixed.

This is the interest payment on your financial technical debt. It compounds daily.

Action isn't about finding more time or energy you don't have. It's about deciding that the cost of staying stuck is finally higher than the investment required to get unstuck.

It's time to stop paying the inaction tax. DM me the word audit to get the link for your 15-minute Profit Leak Diagnostic.

Avoidance is a business strategy with a 100% failure rate.

It feels like a short-term solution, giving you a moment of relief from the low-grade anxiety that comes from *not knowing*.
• Not knowing if you priced that last project for profit or just for cash flow.
• Not knowing which service line is a cash drain.
• Not knowing if you can truly afford the next strategic investment.

But every day you avoid the data, the slow, silent profit leaks continue to drain your business. You're essentially choosing to fly blind, hoping you don't hit a mountain.

Clarity is control. It’s the power to act decisively, backed by data, creating a business that is resilient, scalable, and fundamentally less stressful to run.

It's time to take your hands off your eyes and put them back on the controls. DM me the word AUDIT to get the link for your 15-minute Profit Leak Diagnostic.
