🤯 🇲🇽 Mexican mountaineer Viridiana Álvarez Chávez has officially become the fastest woman in the world to climb the planet’s three highest mountains — Everest, K2, and Kangchenjunga — using supplementary oxygen. A Guinness World Record and a moment of national pride. 💪🔥

Born in Aguascalientes, Mexico, Viridiana didn’t start her journey on mountains. She began as a runner, moving from 10K races to marathons and even completing a half IRONMAN. But her hunger for something greater pushed her toward mountaineering — a decision that would change her life forever.

In less than two years, she went from her first climb to summiting Pico de Orizaba, Mexico’s highest peak. From there, she set her sights on the world’s most dangerous mountains. In a record-breaking 1 year and 364 days, she conquered Everest, K2, and Kangchenjunga — surpassing the previous world record. Along the way, she also became the first Latin American woman to summit K2. 🇲🇽✨

Viridiana says her success comes from discipline, perseverance, and believing in herself, and she uses her achievements to inspire young people around the world. Her journey isn’t over yet — she’s now aiming to climb all 14 of the world’s highest peaks, with five already completed.
