Throughout his 15+ year career, Bob Carr has been dedicated to providing his clients with the optimal home financing experience. Working with everyone from first-time homebuyers to second home and investment property purchasers, he has established a reputation for enthusiasm, expertise and reliability while consistently ranking among Mortgage Executive Magazine’s Top 1% of Mortgage Originators in

America. Bob was inspired to become a mortgage originator after the bewildering but fascinating experience of obtaining financing for his family’s first home. With that pivotal experience in mind, his main objective to this day is to educate his borrowers and ensure they are informed and comfortable about every step of the mortgage process. From first contact to closing and beyond, he is always available to answer questions and resolve issues to ensure the financing process is as stress-free as possible. His favorite part of his job is sharing in his clients’ excitement in purchasing a home and helping ensure it is the most positive experience possible. Prior to joining Draper and Kramer Mortgage Corp., Bob was a vice president of mortgage lending at one of the nation’s largest retail mortgage lenders. He holds a Masters of Business Administration from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s in Hospitality Management from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He likes to travel and has an affinity for water and warm weather activities.
