Calling all Business owners‼️
The Village of Maywood proudly celebrates National Black Business Month by recognizing a historic achievement — since the start of the Booker Administration, Maywood has opened more Black-owned businesses than any other suburb in the State of Illinois. This milestone reflects our community’s rich legacy of entrepreneurship, resilience, and economic leadership.
In honor of this achievement, we are excited to welcome all Black-owned businesses — whether located in Maywood, serving our community, or interested in bringing their talents and investments here — to a special Black Business Mixer. This gathering is an opportunity to connect, collaborate, and create new pathways for growth that benefit both our entrepreneurs and the residents we serve.

Maywood’s doors are open, our tables are set, and our commitment to advancing Black economic opportunity is stronger than ever. Together, we will continue to build a thriving and inclusive economy where Black-owned businesses lead, inspire, and succeed.
