Every year Local 711 members and our Retirees have a bowling tournament. It's nice to mix the groups and share stories and enjoy each other as family. Also you can see they are enjoying the newest addition compliments of FF/PM Kmety. This is how it should be done. From the newest to the most experienced (oldest) it's always a great time

The Chicago Heights Fire Department announces a formal Fire Department walk-through to honor retired Lieutenant John Hogeveen.
The walk-through will take place on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 7:00 PM at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home.
All members wishing to participate are asked to arrive prior to the scheduled time.
We stand together to honor Lieutenant Hogeveen’s dedicated service and legacy.

It is with our deepest condolences that the Chicago Heights Fire Department announces the sudden passing of retired Lieutenant John Hogeveen.

John recently retired after serving the residents of Chicago Heights with dedication and professionalism for over 29 years. Throughout his career, he was a respected leader, mentor, and friend to many within the department. His commitment to the fire service and the community he served will not be forgotten.

Please keep John’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
