Ten years ago today, on January 4, 2016, I signed my contract with FUSA Insurance and started Knifong Insurance. Hard to believe how fast time flies.

With the recent storms, fly-by-night companies will be all over Cheyenne. We strongly recommend not letting out-of-town contractors inspect your roof—they often "find" damage just to pressure you into filing a claim.
Be especially cautious of “package deal” companies claiming they’ll handle everything—roof, siding, windows, etc. While it may sound convenient, many of these companies cut corners and disappear once the job is done.
Your best protection? Stay local.
Local contractors and businesses have a reputation to uphold. They stand behind their work and will still be here long after the storm chasers are gone.
And remember—when you’re asking for donations or sponsorships from local businesses, these are the same people you're supporting when you choose to shop local.
