🐢 It’s that time again! THE GREAT TURTLE RACE IS COMING TO TOWN! Be on the look out for a turtle like the one pictured! No water turtles will be allowed to race!!! All ages welcome 17 years and under.
FIRST PLACE - $250
SECOND PLACE - $100
THIRD PLACE - $50
All PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE A FREE SNOW CONE FROM THE TURTLE HOLE (snow cone stand will be set up July 4th at the Rockin’ Blue Fest location at the rodeo grounds)

TURTLE REGISTRATION BEGINS AT 11am, JULY 4th AT THE CHEYENNE PARK, UNDER THE PAVILION, following the Patriotic bike parade sponsored by the Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce. TURTLE RACES WILL START AROUND 11:30, immediately following sign up.

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2025 Oklahoma Leopold Conservation Award!

The $10,000 award honors farmers, ranchers, and forestland owners who go above and beyond in their management of soil health, water quality, and wildlife habitat on working land.

Award nominations may be submitted on behalf of a landowner, or landowners may nominate themselves through August 1. The nomination form can be found at okfb.news/3TwbaxB.

RMC Farm Bureau Fourth of July Turtle Races had a GREAT turnout with 61 turtles 🐢 competing for the BIG 💰First place $200- Talley Malson and Sherman. Second place $100- Faith Rouse and Speedy. Third place $50- Wilder Vessey and Secretariat. Thank you to all the kids and parents for your participation!!
