Thank you to the wonderful Dean of our College of Business for pointing out that low taxes is not the sole ingredient in the complex recipe to attracting businesses to our great state! Keep up the great work, UW; we look forward to continuing our partnership to make Wyoming a place where its graduates can find jobs and set down their roots!

This webinar will illuminate the flow of revenue from taxpayers and other sources – such as minerals, the federal government, and investment earnings – and how the State directs this money to maintain the services and infrastructure we all depend on.

Our special focus will be the role of property tax as a mainstay of thriving counties and towns, in light of recent efforts to reduce or eliminate this revenue.

Are taxes a “burden,” or a civic duty? What is the “fair share” that citizens and companies should contribute to state and local budgets?

This webinar is a must-attend for anyone interested in the future of small communities, business, and economic opportunity in Wyoming.

đź’˛TAX TALK: Multiple legislative committees have met this month and discussed who pays taxes in Wyoming. Let's set the record straight: in 2024, over 2/3rds of just property taxes were paid by businesses in Wyoming. This revenue went to support local services enjoyed by Wyoming's citizens.
