The Role: Sales Associate
As a Sales Associate, you will be on the front lines of our growth, driving new business and expanding our agency's client base. This role is ideal for a proactive, results-oriented individual eager to build a successful career in sales.
Key Responsibilities
• New Client Acquisition: Actively seek out and secure new clients for the agency, primarily focusing on selling insurance policies.
• Outbound Prospecting: Utilize provided leads and self-generated lists to make proactive calls and find new business opportunities.
• Community Engagement: Represent the agency at out-of-office events (e.g., local networking, community functions) to network and attract potential clients to the office.
• Sales Process Management: Expertly manage the entire sales cycle, including quoting, presenting, and closing, often handling multi-line products.
• Client Relationship Building: Deliver excellent customer service during and after the sales process to ensure client retention and referrals.
What You'll Bring (Required Qualifications)
• Production-Driven Mindset: A proven history of setting and achieving sales or production goals.
• Exceptional Customer Service Skills: The ability to communicate clearly, empathize with clients, and build trust quickly.
• Professional Promptness: Excellent time management and the reliability to be on time for all appointments and shifts.
• Adaptability: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions (like walk-in traffic) and shifting priorities.
• Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work well with others in a supportive, goal-oriented team setting.
• (Optional, but recommended: Current P&C and/or Life & Health insurance license, OR willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.)
