📈 Mortgage rates just hit 7.4%, the highest since late 2023.
If you're thinking about buying a home, refinancing or financing a business property, you've probably noticed rates moving the wrong way. On a $400,000 loan, today's rate adds about $294 a month compared with a year ago.
The good news: you still have options. Seller-paid rate buydowns, adjustable-rate loans and government-backed programs can all help, and higher rates often give buyers more room to negotiate.
We explain what's pushing rates up and how to plan around it in our new blog post 👇
