Insurance Customer Service Representative

Qualifications:
Experience in Customer Service/Office field preferred but will train the right candidate
Will be expected to obtain license as required by the State Department of Insurance to discuss and/or sell insurance in Maryland within 90 Days - textbook/training will be provided
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Good listening skills and attention to detail.
Solid communication skills both verbal and written.
Responsibilities:
Service current customer files to retain business.
Performs functions on agency management system proficiently and assists others.
Maintains a concern for timeliness and completeness when interacting with customers, agency and company personnel to minimize potential for errors & omissions claims.
Actively seeks referrals from current client base to refer new business prospects to producers.
Performs additional assigned duties as necessary.

Job Duties:
Answer incoming customer inquiries
Collaborate with management teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies
Record customer information within our customer service database
Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies
Other duties as requested.
