Medicare Annual Enrollment (Oct 15 - Dec 7) is in full swing, and it’s Medicare enrollees’ main opportunity to adjust coverage to fit current needs.

Whether you're reviewing options for yourself or a loved one, here are some important dates to know:

✅ December 7th - Deadline to enroll and make changes to the upcoming year. Be sure your enrollment form for a chosen plan is received by this date.

✅ January 1st - New coverage starts, and any changes made in annual enrollment take effect. If you kept your plan the same, updates to costs or benefits also begin today.

October marks Cybersecurity Awareness Month and the start of Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period. Scammers ramp up efforts to target Medicare beneficiaries. Stay one step ahead with these essential tips to help protect you and your loved ones.

(If they call and ask if you have Parts A or B of Medicare or say that they know you've "had pain for the last 16 years" that's a scam. If it's a random number from out of state, don't answer. Do not answer. Hang up!)
