Good ole Wells Fargo hit with a $3.7bil fine for a "for a series of actions including misapplied loan payments, improper home foreclosures, illegally repossessed vehicles and surprise overdraft fees." This amount is in addition to the $3bil that WF was fined in 2020!

Hey lawmakers, clearly Wells Fargo is still seeing a net on the bottom line or they would stop doing this. In other word, the penalties aren't harsh enough to deter them from predatory practices. HIT THEM WITH A MASSIVE FINE THAT IS IN PROPORTION TO THEIR BUSINESS!!

Unfortunately, those who fell victim to these practices, more than likely won't get much compensation.

“Wells Fargo’s rinse-repeat cycle of violating the law has harmed millions of American families,” said Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Director Rohit Chopra.
