I don’t always get to post a photo of my clients on closing day, but when I do it, they are always filled with excitement! 😁 These two are no different. They contacted me to discuss downsizing after being in their home for over 30 years, scared beyond measure of the process. Rate Watch -- another record breaking jobs report was released last week, showing further evidence that America is “going back to work”.

This is presumed to be a precursor to our economic recovery and thus, stocks have begun to recover over the last week. Rates haven’t followed suit (at least not yet).

However, there is upward pressure on them because of this. If you’ve followed my posts recently, then you know I’ve been cautioning against waiting for rates to drop further.

Of course they could fall more, but I believe what it would take for that to happen is less likely than rates starting to move up.
