Recently, I made a big job change of closing down my independent insurance agency and merging it with the Crane Insurance Agency. Here'e part of the letter I sent to my clients.
This letter comes with some very exciting news that I'm happy to tell you about. As most of my clients know, I began my insurance career some 28 years ago with what was then called "Preferred Risk Insurance Company" which is now GuideOne Insurance. Two years into my career, I met my friend Rob Gion, Jr. who also started his insurance career with GuideOne. Rob now owns a successful insurance business operating out of the Charles L Crane Insurance Agency which is the oldest insurance agency west of the Mississippi River and one of the largest and most respected privately held insurance agencies in the country. I'm now happy to announce that beginning August 1, Rob and I will once again be working together as I finish my career as a member of Rob's team at Crane!
Please hear three important things. First, I'm not going anywhere! I plan on working at least another 7-8 years and as long a I physically can. Second, this move is REALLY good for you. I will now have good access to many more respected insurance companies than I do now and that means it is likely that in the future that I may be able to find you something even better than what you have now. Finally, you should expect even better service moving forward than you have received to this point. Rob and his team at Crane bring a lot of resources to me and my clients than we ever had access to before. Rob and his team truly care about their clients and it shows. I can't wait for you to experience the future in the days ahead. This is going to be good for both you and me.
