For the consumer......please do yourself a favor and do not use zillow.com as an assessment tool for checking the value of your home. The only true way to know the most accurate value for your home is with a professional Real Estate Agent or Appraiser. If you insist on doing your own homework the most accurate online free source I have run across lately has been homes.com. If you are an agent or appraiser please feel free to comment leaving your contact info and area of the country you specialize in below for consumers to reach out to you directly.

Watch the market ladies and gentleman. The next couple weeks will hopefully prove to VERY boosting to mortgage refinancing & new home sales. Rates are hinted to drop yet again. All those fence post sitters better start lickin their chops cuz this maybe the best time of all times to lock in at the lowest rates ever recorded in history!!!!!

Good news!!!

Foreclosure filings dropped again in July, marking the 10th straight month for year-over-year declines and reaching their lowest level since November 2007, RealtyTrac reports.
