I saw this today and it’s so true!! We got conditioned to think the 2-5% rates were here to stay, but they weren’t!! Google says the average rate over the last 30 years is 7.72%, so what we have now is actually normal! I’m hoping we settle into the upper 5’s-6% but who knows when that may happen 🤷🏼‍♀️. House prices are NOT predicted to go down, so when is the best time to buy? NOW!! Home ownership is how most Americans build wealth, there is NO need to throw away money on rent and bulid someone’s wealth! .
