Jeff Hullinger of "Georgia Legends" on Georgia Public Broadcasting (PBS®) sat down with Aflac Chairman and CEO Dan Amos to discuss, among other things, the bold idea that changed everything, the Aflac Duck.
Dan bet his career on using humor to make insurance more relatable. From starting as a salesman to leading one of the most recognizable brands in the world, what drives him has always stayed the same:
"I've truly enjoyed it all these years…and it's fun to watch people succeed," said Amos.
From an unconventional idea to a legacy of giving, Dan has also helped Aflac raise more than $195 million to support children facing cancer and blood disorders through the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
