Recently, we had the chance to speak to our BNI chapter about insurance tips that matter most in the summer, and we want to share those with you!

🔥 Hosting with a grill or fire pit? Double-check your liability coverage. Keep your grill 10 feet away from structures. Check your gas line.
💍 Just get engaged or inherit a family heirloom? You may need to schedule that jewelry.
🛶 Got summer toys like jet skis or ATVs? They need their own policies. Full coverage doesn’t automatically apply to your homeowners policy.
🏊‍♀️ Have a pool? You need an umbrella policy. Liability exposure increases. Make sure you have a fence, too!
🎒 Sending a kid off to college? Renters insurance may not be optional anymore. Those kids have cooler furniture in their dorms than Wayfair, and more tech than Best Buy these days. Make sure you know which items are covered properly.
