BrightBridge is Certified Development Company dedicated to economic development. We work in partnership with local, state and federal governments, community banks and private lenders to provide affordable financing for businesses. As an alternative funding source, BrightBridge does not compete with commercial lenders but uses its funding in combination with bank loans. Our goal is to bridge the gap between the level of funding needed by small business and what private lenders can offer. We specialize in the SBA 504 Loan product that can provide up to 90% financing for businesses purchasing commercial real estate or machinery and equipment. It was the first national financing program to recognize the contributions of healthy, expanding small and medium-sized businesses toward job growth in the U.S.

We’re thrilled to see Cooper Steel featured on the cover of New Markets Tax Credit Coalition’s 2026 Progress Report! Our subsidiary, River Gorge Capital, provided Cooper Steel with NMTC financing to support their expansion into a new fabrication facility in Shelbyville, TN, allowing the company to retain and create quality jobs for the local workforce.
This is what the New Markets Tax Credit builds. Cooper Steel is one of the 372 projects the report documents from 2025.

This National Civic Service Month, we’re proud to recognize Barry Allen, our Chief Revenue Office, for his commitment to serving his community.

Held in conjunction with the The National Cornbread Festival, Barry is eager for the return of Cornbread Fondo. He helped create the bike race that showcases the natural scenery, which also raises funds to support the foundation. Here he is repping the trophy, a Lodge skillet!

Barry serves as the Director of the Sequatchie Valley Turkey Trot, which raises funds for the Marion County Children's Fund . He also serves on the board for Humanities Tennessee and Thrive Regional Partnership.

He also supports the Tennessee River Gorge Trust , MARC - Marion Animal Resource Connection, his church, and numerous local outdoor and community initiatives.

Our subsidiary River Gorge Capital recently provided $12,000,000 in New Markets Tax Credit allocation to support the construction of Delhi Hospital & Clinics.

For over 65 years, Delhi Hospital has served the low-income, rural residents of Richland Parish and the surrounding communities. Facing critical structural, HVAC, and ADA compliance challenges at its original campus, Delhi determined that constructing a new, state-of-the-art facility was the most cost-effective path to modernizing patient care.

Project Highlights:
· 37,000 SF modern critical access hospital and rural health clinic
· Enhanced Emergency Care: dedicated ER-adjacent helipad for rapid transport
· Expanded Services: on-site MRI, outpatient surgery, specialty care, and psychiatry/behavioral health services
· Community Impact: capacity to serve 40,000+ patients annually while securing quality jobs for 200+ healthcare professionals
