AegleWealth Where wealth meets well-being, AegleWealth aspires to help clients achieve both. Engaging with money – whether you have a lot or a little – can be stressful.

A lot goes into wealth-building and as much goes into well-being; it is when the two intersect and work together that life is truly good. At AegleWealth, we believe money is the paint for your life canvas and a tool to help you achieve your deepest hopes and dreams. Based on each clients' individual life stage, business aspirations, long-term goals, and more, we work together to tailor workable plans that accommodate life today and pave the path toward realizing lasting financial wellness and independence. We also understand that life presents an ever-changing series of problems to solve. We rely heavily on Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs as a reference point to frame client requirements and opportunities, believing firmly that the right solutions become intuitive when we begin to ask and prioritize the right questions. Founder Stefanie Crowe is a wealth advisory and banking veteran, as well as an entrepreneur and an angel investor. Stefanie spent over a decade with Bank of America/US Trust and has ample experience establishing and terminating trusts, settling estates and guiding investment portfolios within a variety of taxable and tax-deferred accounts. As a private banker, she's financed assets like homes, vacation homes, ranches, planes, yachts, and art, and has worked with clients that lead (and often own) public and private companies. -Clarify life and business goals and objectives.
-Construct a paradigm or lens through which financial decisions are made.
-Navigate tactics, techniques, and structures that align with your strategy.
-Coordinate efforts with the various advisors on your team (tax, legal, banking, etc.) to optimize the plan, the execution, and the likelihood of success. Few retirement decisions carry as much long-term weight as when to claim Social Security. Claiming early means more years of payments at a lower amount. Waiting means fewer years at a higher one, along with a larger survivor benefit for a spouse.

There is no universally right answer. The decision depends on your health, your other income sources, whether you are still working, and what would happen financially if one spouse outlived the other by a decade or more. This is a choice worth modeling carefully rather than defaulting to whatever feels normal.

With one quarter left in the year, October is the last real window to make changes that still count for 2026. Decisions made in late December tend to be rushed. Decisions made now have room to be thoughtful.

Look at a few specifics: whether you are on pace with retirement contributions, whether charitable giving is planned rather than last minute, whether flexible spending dollars will go unused, and whether any tax conversations should happen before year end. None of this takes long. It simply requires doing it while there is still time to act.

Healthcare is one of the most commonly underestimated line items in a retirement plan. Medicare covers a great deal, but not everything, and premiums, dental, vision, and long-term care costs can add up in ways that surprise people who otherwise planned carefully.

The encouraging part is that this is a solvable problem when you look at it early. Understanding what Medicare does and does not cover, thinking through how you would want long-term care delivered, and deciding whether insurance or self-funding fits your situation are all conversations worth having well before you need the answers.

Before the Year Ends: A Wealth and Well-Being Checklist

Year-end planning usually starts with taxes. I'd like to start with a different question: how did this year actually go? In this month's blog, I share six questions to ask before December. They cover the investment, tax, and estate moves that need a head start, along with the well-being review that belongs right beside them. There's still time to act on all of it.

Stefanie Crowe launched AegleWealth in 2020, in the middle of a pandemic and a deeply unsettled market. She was able to take that risk because she had spent years building a financial foundation that gave her the freedom to say yes when the moment came.

That is the larger question sitting behind every savings rate and investment decision: what do you want your money to make possible? Financial security is the beginning, not the finish line. October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and financial fraud has grown far more sophisticated than the clumsy scam emails most of us learned to spot years ago. Today it looks like a convincing text from your bank, a cloned voice on a phone call, or a request that arrives at exactly the moment you are too distracted to question it.

A few habits make a real difference. Turn on multifactor authentication for every financial account, freeze your credit if you are not actively borrowing, and adopt one simple rule: never act on an urgent financial request until you have verified it using a number or address you already had. Protecting what you have built is part of building it.

One of the most common reasons people delay working with an advisor is the belief that they have not accumulated enough yet. It is a quiet form of self-disqualification, and it often costs the most valuable asset you have, which is time.

At AegleWealth, we work with clients across the full arc of the journey, including those still building the foundation. For clients who have not yet accrued significant assets but aspire to, we offer a tiered retainer designed around their age, income, and planning needs. The fundamentals you put in place early are what make every advanced strategy possible later.

A sudden influx of money is not always the relief people expect. An inheritance, a business sale, or a settlement can carry grief, pressure, and a surprising amount of noise from people with opinions about what you should do next.

The best first step is usually to do very little. Park the funds somewhere safe, give yourself a defined window before making any major commitments, and use that time to think through taxes, timing, and what this money is genuinely meant to accomplish in your life. Decisions made in the first few weeks are rarely your best ones. Decisions made with clarity tend to hold up for decades.

Some of the most financially complex seasons of life arrive when you are supporting people in two directions at once. Helping a child through college while quietly managing a parent's care creates real tension between today's obligations and your own long-term security.

There is no formula that resolves this, but there is a better way through it. Name the competing priorities out loud, get clear on what you can sustainably give without compromising your own retirement, and build a plan that accounts for both.

Generosity is far more durable when it is planned rather than improvised.

September is National Preparedness Month, and while most of the conversation focuses on storms and supply kits, financial preparedness deserves the same attention. Disruption rarely announces itself, and the households that weather it best are the ones that prepared when nothing was wrong.

Start with three things. Confirm your cash reserve still covers three to six months of real expenses, not the number you set years ago. Review your insurance coverage on your home, health, disability, and life to be sure the limits still match your life. Then make sure someone you trust knows where your important documents live. Preparedness is not pessimism. It is the quiet confidence of knowing you have already thought it through.
