There's still time to help local students start the school year with the supplies they need! 💙
Murray County Farm Bureau is accepting school supply donations through August 26. Every backpack, notebook, pack of pencils, crayons, folders, and other school essentials helps make a difference for local students.

Georgia Farm Bureau Office Manager Alicia and Secretary Katie had a wonderful time visiting the Chatsworth-Murray County Public Library to enjoy some summer reading and connect with our community.
A special thank you to Victoria James Catalano, Children's Coordinator, for welcoming us and making our visit so enjoyable. We appreciate all you do to encourage a love of reading and learning in our community!

Help us give local students the tools they need for a successful school year!
We're collecting new school supplies for students in our community, and we'd love your support. Items needed include: 📓 Notebooks ✏️ Pencils & Pens 🖍️ Crayons & Markers 📁 Folders 🧴 Glue Sticks 🎒 Backpacks 📏 And other classroom essentials!
🗓️ Donations can be dropped off during regular business hours from July 22 through August 26.

🌾🐄 Ag Day 2026 – A Day of Learning and Agriculture! 🐖🐝

On May 11, 2026, Murray County Farm Bureau was proud to sponsor Ag Day for our Murray County 4th graders! Students from Woodlawn Elementary, Spring Place Elementary, Coker Elementary, Chatsworth Elementary, Northwest Elementary, and Eton Elementary had the opportunity to experience hands-on agricultural education and learn about the important role agriculture plays in our community and daily lives.

Congratulations to Rachel Kinsaul, Agricultural Science Teacher at Morgan County High School, on being named the 2026 Georgia Teacher of the Year!

With 15 years of dedicated service in education, Rachel teaches students in grades 9-12 through courses including Introduction to Agricultural Science, Forest Science, General Horticulture, and Floral Design. A passionate advocate for project-based learning and agricultural education, she continues to inspire the next generation of leaders through hands-on experiences and innovative teaching practices.

Rachel's outstanding contributions to education have also earned her the 2024 Milken Educator Award and recognition as the 2025 University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Outstanding Alumni.
