Roof Series: Many carriers have strict cutoff points:
🔸 15–20 years for asphalt shingles
🔸 40+ years for metal roofs
🔸 20–30 years for tile
If your roof is older than their guidelines, the carrier might:
✔ Decline the policy
✔ Require documentation
✔ Offer actual cash value instead of replacement cost
✔ Request repairs before binding
Roof age = a major factor in getting covered.
