Education Strategy Consulting (ESC) brings together three core areas necessary for the meaningful measurement of state policies and programs: data preparation, analysis, and visualization. With our assistance, states can leverage the investment and power of their longitudinal data systems while mitigating the challenges of limited internal capacity. Ultimately, our combination of services aims to

reduce the research to practice to policy gap through the clear and concise visualization of research results and findings. ESC works with K-12 school districts (15,000 students to 750,000 students), states (several million students), and assessment services to provide growth and performance analytics. Clients use our services to maximize their return-on-investment in human resources, policy (school closures, charter school reauthorization), and high-budget interventions and programs. Current clients include the Los Angeles Unified School District, the Newark Charter School Fund, the Walton Family Foundation (supporting work in Arizona, Memphis, Atlanta, and elsewhere), and the Elgin Foundation (supporting work in Kentucky combined with NWEA formative assessments).
