Observations from the last few weeks:

- Stores are stocking their shelves at night and letting seniors shop first

- People are voluntarily shopping for seniors that can't shop for themselves

- Auto manufacturing has halted building cars and started building ventilators

- Uber Eats waived fees on for delivery

- Restaurants have started making food for kids that rely on school meal programs

- Bus drivers stepped up and are delivering the food to kids

- Alcohol distilleries stopped making booze and started making hand sanitizer & GIVING IT AWAY

- Carnival Cruise line volunteered boats to use as floating hospitals

- NBA athletes have volunteered to pay the salaries of arena workers

- Construction companies are donating masks to hospitals

- Truckers are working non-stop to deliver goods

- Families are spending more time together, disconnected from technology

Perhaps one of the greatest things about America is the citizens, without prompting, will step up hand help each other...

They will do this regardless of their differences...

Don't doubt OUR ability to beat this AND bounce back STRONGER!

🤓 It's Not 2007/2008 - A little more perspective

January & February seem like ages ago now, especially while everyone is wrapped up in corona virus concerns. 📆

However, It's important to remember that during those months and the months leading up to it the economy was strong.

Very similar to being sick, if you're healthy and strong leading up to it, you have a very good chance of a quicker and stronger recovery. 💪

The banking system is healthy, savings rates are high, it's cheap to borrow money, the February jobs report was great and non-manufacturing PMI was strong. All this indicates a good track for future economic growth. ↗️

All of these were not the case in 2007/2008.

All of these indicators could very well ward off the worst case scenarios that people currently fear. 👊

💥📉 Overly simplified opinion/explanation 📉💥

💵We are a consumption based economy. Our economy is dependent on people buying things at (grocery stores, gas stations, electronic stores, bars, airports, restaurants, malls, strip malls, etc...) 💵

We are being told to stay home, embrace social distancing, and work from home.

By doing this we are not buying stuff and spending like our economy needs. This is the reason for the "market concern".

📈The quicker we are allowed to "get back to normal" the quicker everything rebounds.📈

Stay the course!
