What does that mean?

A 1-0 buydown lowers your interest rate by 1% for the first year, which means a lower monthly mortgage payment during year one.

✨ Example:
If your locked interest rate is 6.5%, you may pay based on 5.5% for the first 12 months.

This can help give you a little breathing room while settling into your new home, buying furniture, moving, or adjusting financially.

Celebrating a true Hometown Hero. ✨

My friend Alesia Fleming, Director of Anderson Outreach, was recently honored in Charlotte as one of only FOUR Hometown Hero recipients out of more than 800 nominees — and the most incredible part is that someone nominated her. She didn’t even apply.

Alesia dedicates her life to serving children in foster care and group homes across Union, Mecklenburg, and Stanly Counties — and soon Georgia.

Through Anderson Outreach, she and her team provide:
• Birthday parties and cakes
• Holiday gifts and celebrations
• Support for children who often have no family to celebrate with
• Brand-new suitcases so children moving homes never have to carry their belongings in a trash bag

It is one of the most meaningful nonprofits I’ve seen in many years.

Alesia, I am so proud of you. Your heart for these children is extraordinary, and I’m grateful God brought our paths together. Thank you for letting me be part of last night — you deserve every bit of this recognition. ❤️
