Our Story

Born and raised in Frederick, MD, I relocated to Charlotte, NC after attending Clemson University for my undergraduate degree in Astrophysics. I have been in the mortgage world for over 15 years and have loved every minute of it. In fact, in my first full year in the industry I was awarded #43 on Mortgage Originators National Rookies of Year. Since that time, I have gone on to work with hundreds of Real Estate Agents, Builders and Developers in the Charlotte metropolitan area and the surrounding regions. Currently I am licensed in 5 states (VA, NC, SC, GA, FL) and manage the Charlotte Branch for Angel Oak Home Loans. Active in the community Bill has worked with Habitat for Humanity and the American Cancer Society. I strive to help everyone achieve the dream of home ownership. I don’t want to just do a loan I want to do the right loan. I firmly believe that if you always put other people first, you will never be second. Fun Facts: - I have a degree in Astrophysics from Clemson Univ. (literally I'm a rocket scientist) - MBA from Winthrop University ‘03 - Attended Johnson & Wales Culinary School - Never miss a Clemson Football game, I have season Tickets. - I own a boat on Lake Norman, and try to get out on it almost every weekend in the Summer. I get seasick almost every time I go out on the boat :) - I love outdoorsy things including camping, snorkeling, fishing, canoeing and bicycling. The Whitewater Center is Awesome. - I love to cook... seriously. It's actually therapeutic for me. It's how I like to unwind after a long day. - President of the Chess Club in high school. - Favorite book is The Great Gatsby, and my favorite movie is When Harry met Sally. (Dumb and Dumber was a close 2nd)
