JB Fitzgerald Partner and 8-year NBA veteran Trevor Booker announces his retirement from professional basketball today. Booker, one of the NBA’s best utility players of our era, entered the NBA in 2010 after being selected 23rd overall in the 1st round. Booker has been a mentor, advisor, and ambassador of Combine Academy Student-Athletes from day 1. We want to congratulate Trevor on an amazing NBA career, and wish him the best of luck moving forward in his endeavors off the court > “I’m just a kid from a small town in South Carolina. Coming out of school I wasn’t considered a big time recruit, and got passed over by a lot of the blue bloods of college basketball. Playing in the NBA was a dream. I want kids to see my story and understand what can be achieved through hard work and determination” Booker said when interviewed by Combine Goat Media
