Do you know the changes coming to Medicare in 2025?
The Inflation Reduction Act will enact certain changes to Medicare Part D coverage, including:
• The prescription drug deductible will be increasing to $590 from $545 for Part D plans, and some Medicare Advantage plans may add the deductible to their prescription coverage.
• The catastrophic phase will be eliminated, and pharmacy out-of-pocket costs will be capped at $2,000.
• All Part D plans, including Medicare Advantage Part D plans, are required to provide all Part D members the option to pay their out-of-pocket Part D prescription drug costs in monthly amounts over the course of the plan year, instead of paying at the point of sale (POS).
I understand that navigating through these changes can be overwhelming, which is why I am here to guide you every step of the way.
