-Successful franchises are “awarded” not “sold”
-Good franchises want to make sure prospects are a good fit
-Royalties-focus on the value received
-Validate with existing franchisees
-Don’t restrict your search to your own background and industry– focus on skill sets that can be transferred from your background
-Understand that when you attend Discovery Day (visiting the franchise) that your franchise is evaluating you as much as you are evaluating them.

Many feel they cannot afford a franchise. Focus on excellent franchises that are less mature but have territory available and are affordable.

Work with financial companies that focus on franchising. They frequently offer opportunities that many are not aware.
