WOW! What a race the Kentucky Derby was 🏇. From the scary fall and last minute scratch of Great White, to the last place-to-first place finish for Golden Tempo.

What caught my ear was, "That's how he runs". Just let that sit... In our high-pressure (sometimes put on ourselves), 'look-at-me' culture, Golden Tempo won because his team stuck to their strategy. Consistency and authenticity triumph. Being behind isn't losing...It's positioning.

Reality: Just being a 'Corgi Mom' and enjoying the moment. 💚

My video skills might have failed me at the parade, but Winston’s modeling skills certainly didn’t.

We had a blast walking Bowl Street and ending the day at OMB. Everyone enjoyng The Bowl loved the parade! We even had a few honorary corgis join us!

Winston has his St. Patrick’s Day parade outfit ready and will be joining a wiggle of corgis as we parade down Bowl Street to OMB.

Ready to see a sea of green Corgis? Join us for the Charlotte Corgi Club St. Patrick’s Day Parade!

When: Tomorrow, Sunday, March 15th
Where: The Bowl at Ballantyne
Meet: 12:00 PM (at the lot circled below)
Step-off: 12:15 PM sharp!

We’re walking straight down Bowl Street and heading straight to the beer garden at Olde Mecklenburg Brewing for the official post-parade pawty! 🍻🐾

Wear your best green and come ready for some fun. If the main lot is full, just park nearby and meet us at the start point before 12:15!

Corgis 🤝 Squeaky Ball

Winston doesn't like to play with tennis balls. Apparently they get too slobbery and dirty 😆

He loves the squeaky ball...

First throw:

Ball still in n his mouth. Paul politely offered.

Second throw and Winston already takes a head start.

Safe to say he understood the assignment 😅
