Local small business owners — quick question:

Do your financial reports actually help you make decisions… or do they mostly just exist for tax time?

One thing I see often is owners spending evenings and weekends inside QuickBooks, thinking they’re saving money, when in reality they’re trading their most valuable resource — time — for reports they don’t fully trust or use.

Accounting software is a great tool, but it doesn’t tell you when something’s been recorded incorrectly or when the numbers don’t reflect what’s really happening in the business.
