Arrowpoint Capital President & CEO John Tighe was among the speakers at the opening ceremony for the Community Matters Cafe on April 7. John is board chair for Community Matters: Insurance Partners of Charlotte, an all-volunteer nonprofit organization comprising more than 80 companies across Charlotte, that is investing in the cafe. The cafe is a full-service restaurant and coffee shop that teaches graduates of Charlotte Rescue Mission's addiction-recovery program the life skills they need for future success and opportunity.By being enrolled in the cafe program, these men and women learn about such topics as financial responsibility, adhering to a schedule, and healthy ways to cope with conflict and stress.
