Stewardship Is More Than What You Earn.
Stewardship is what you do with what has been placed in your hands.
It’s how you manage what you earn.
How you protect what you’ve built.
How you prepare for what could happen.
How you care for the people who depend on you.
And how you make sure what you’ve worked for can serve a purpose beyond you.
Wealth is not just accumulation.
It’s responsibility.
And increasingly, that responsibility will be carried by women.
Industry research projects that trillions of dollars in wealth will shift into the hands of women over the coming decades, much of it through spousal and generational transfers.
That means financial stewardship cannot only be a conversation for men.
Women need to understand what the family owns.
How it is structured.
Where it is located.
How decisions are made.
And what responsibilities may one day rest in their hands.
That’s one reason DeLayna and I believe wealth conversations should happen together, not after a crisis.
Stewardship is not about who controls the money.
It’s about making sure the people entrusted with it are prepared to carry it well.
