As humans we tend to “ASSUME” a lot. Like for example, we assume that we’re going to make it home from work each day.

We assume that we’ll never get cancer or end up with a disability or even die sometimes.

We just go about our day as though those things aren’t possible. We don’t really think about those things.

But who told you that you would or that you wouldn’t?

As times get worse, be smart and figure out how you can protect yourself and your family for these kinds of situations.

These past couple of weeks have not been the easiest for me mentally.

But theres something that keeps pulling me back. Theres something that just wont allow me to give up on this or myself.

I decided to take the time to figure out what it is that I need to change. I need to keep it simple.

I need to take it day at a time and do the best that I can personally do. Its not about how fast I get there, its just about getting there.

Before I found this career, I had no idea as to what I really wanted to do for work. At one point I didn’t even want to work anymore because I was just so burnt out 😩.

But I knew that part of my god given responsibility as a mother and a wife was to support my family. Only thing is I didn’t want to do it unless I did it on my own terms. I didn’t want anybody else treating me like a hebrew slave.

I knew I wanted to be able to home school my daughter. I knew I wanted to work when it was best for me and MY family. I knew I never wanted to work for someone else again. I knew I needed something different.
I wanted to be MY OWN BOSS.

I knew I didn’t want to be overworked. I knew I didn’t want to miss out on spending time with my baby girl. I knew I didn’t want to look back with any regrets. 🥺

If I hadn’t been where i’ve been, I wouldn’t be going where i’m going.

I used to work for corporate but it just wasn’t what I wanted in life.

I know my worth and I know what I deserve. I know what potential I have and I just couldn’t be myself.

I refuse to settle for less.

What are some of you non negotiables when it comes to your career?

What is it that you have to have? Or what is it that you are not willing to sacrifice?

I’m grateful for my life because i’ve been able to learn so much and i’ve been able to grow 🙏🏼

I notice that I tend to over think a lot. I can make a big deal out of nothing.

This world can make you feel like you have to do everything perfectly and that you can’t make any mistakes.

Today a fiend of mine said “Don’t get paralysis by analysis.”

To me that means, stop stressing. Don’t over do it.

So if you find yourself overthinking about something, stop for a moment and just breathe. No stress. It’ll be alright 😌

Our life’s get very busy. It can be hard to find time to spend with love ones but it’s necessary.

If you don’t take care of yourself then how will you be able to take care of others?

I had a great time with my loved ones! I haven’t been skating in years but I enjoyed it so much.

It was baby girls first time skating and she hated it 😂 😩

Time to get back to the grind! 💪🏼
