Under the CARES (Coronoavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security) Act stimulus checks have started being deposited into consumers accounts. Under the package, eligible adults can receive a 𝐭𝐚𝐱 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 up to $1200 and $500/child.

If you're in the more fortunate position to be able to save any of the income, consider opening a savings account or contributing to a savings account for your child(ren)! Some of the higher interest bearing accounts are online savings accounts that you can set up and make the transfers right from home. A CD and 529 are other options as well.

In this ever charging environment right now remember that you are the thermostat.

A thermometer changes and adapts to whatever temperature its in. It has no control. But a thermostat regulates/sets the temperature and the surrounding environment adjusts it.

Get in the mental head space you need right now to remain calm and keep your sanity. Create the environment you need to do so. If you need to disengage from the news for a while...unplug. If certain calls and conversations from certain people are making you anxious... don't answer.

Companies have started asking employees to work remote. Some companies are offering employees paid leave without having to use PTO related to coronavirus. But what if your company doesn't offer these benefits? 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐞𝐬, 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 and many others could potentially be affected if their job location decides suspend work. Do you have a plan in place?

𝐓𝐢𝐩𝐬: Call your creditors and billing companies to see if they're offering any waivers or postponements that could help relieve financial stress. Start contributing more to your emergency fund 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 you need it.

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 announced Friday morning it will offer free Spectrum broadband and Wi-Fi access for 60 days to households with K-12 and/or college students who do not already have a subscription.

To give is a blessing... As these schools are shutting down due to coronavirus please don't forget to help where you can. There are many children that will not have a home to go to for weeks or food to eat. If you're able, prepare care packages and take them to the schools. One person can't help them all but we can certainly each help one.

Checked your 401k and investments lately?? The Corona Virus is hurting stocks but I won't let that keep me from checking off my goals
