In a recent study, only 51% of Gen Z teens are interested in pursuing a 4 year degree (down from 71%). It’s been crazy to see the rise in tuition, amount of people struggling with student loan debt, and degrees not promising careers like they once were when our parents were growing up.
With the way the world is shifting, we are seeing more and more young people wanting to start their own business, go straight into the work force, etc. In reference to another study, 62% of Gen Z teens wanted to start their own business.
I state all that to say, look into a vehicle today that has no guidelines or guardrails when it comes to supporting your kids in whatever route they choose for their future. Whether it’s starting their own business, buying their first home, paying for their dream wedding, or even paying for college, never let a dollar amount get in the way of them pursuing their goals and aspirations.
