Please use the school choice email address to email documentation to your local county board of education related to the Hope Scholarship Program, such as your Notice of Intent letter or your year-end academic progress reporting. Please note in the subject and body of the email that your student is a Hope Scholarship student to make it easier for the county board of education to appropriately process your student’s documentation.

Did you miss the June 8th deadline for submitting your student's required annual academic progress to your county board of education? Please still submit the required documentation ASAP to avoid receiving a 45-day closeout letter for your student in early July.

State Treasurer Larry Pack, who serves as Chairman of the Hope Scholarship Board, today announced 26,617 students have applied for full-funding for the Hope Scholarship Program for the 2026-2027 school year. Using the latest application data available, the estimated cost of the initial application period for the program for the 2026-2027 school year is currently $155 million.

A Hope Scholarship Notice of Intent (NOI) should be emailed to the county board of education of the student’s county of residence AFTER their Hope Scholarship application is in “Eligible” status. This applies to all students in every grade level. Please note that if your student is currently attending public school, they will be withdrawn from public school upon receipt of your student’s NOI.

A status of Eligible or Conditionally Eligible means your student has been awarded the Hope Scholarship for the 2026-2027 school year. Hope Scholarship Board staff, however, have to confirm that your student’s Notice of Intent is on file for new applicants or that your student’s 2025-2026 academic progress information has been submitted for existing participants before we can fund your student. Board staff will perform these verifications and update application statuses to Approved in mid-July. MANDATORY ANNUAL REQUIREMENT:

Don't forget to complete your student’s Continued Participation Confirmation (CPC) for the 2026-2027 school year! The deadline to submit a CPC for an existing Hope Scholarship student is June 15, 2026.

Failure to submit a CPC by June 15 will result in closure of the student’s account and the loss of any carryover funds. If the student still wishes to participate in the program, they will be required to submit a new student application. As a reminder, applications submitted after June 15 will be funded less than 100%.
