Here’s a quick Medicare breakdown:

-Part A usually covers hospital stays and is often premium-free—but it’s not “free Medicare.”

-Part B covers doctor visits and comes with a monthly premium. You can be penalized if you enroll late.

-Part C (also called Medicare Advantage) is a different way to get your coverage. It’s optional.

-Part D covers prescription drugs. You may want it even if you’re not currently taking medications. You can also be penalized for late enrollment.

Most people we work with are surprised by how many moving parts there are—and how easy it is to miss something important.

What part of Medicare are you trying to wrap your head around right now?

Medicare Advantage (Part C) = Part A + Part B — all rolled into one plan through a private insurance company approved by Medicare.

These plans are required to include all the same benefits as Original Medicare, and many may also offer extras like dental, vision, hearing, or prescription drug coverage.

They can be a good fit depending on your needs, preferences, and budget.

Extra Help will lower your drug costs to no more than $12.15!

If you think you might qualify for Extra Help, we recommend you apply for the Medicare Savings Program (MSP) through your state so you can also save $185/month on your Part B premium.

By signing up for the MSP, you automatically get approved for Extra Help.

(Some states have a higher income/asset limit for the MSP than Extra Help, so it's easier to qualify for the MSP and you get both programs)

If your income for 2025 is below $23,475 ($31,725 for married couples), you may qualify for lower or no prescription drug costs. Many people qualify for Extra Help with Medicare Part D (drug coverage) and don’t even know it. It could pay to find out: https://go.medicare.gov/4jDjcjM

Medicare helps with some things—but not everything. From rehab to lost income to home modifications, the costs add up fast.

Here’s the good news: For about $1/day, you could get a lump sum cash payout if you’re diagnosed with a Stroke, Heart Attack, or Cancer.

No red tape. Just money in your pocket when you need it most.

Comment “protect” and we’ll send over the details!

Turning 65?

✅ 1. Know your enrollment timeline:
You have a 7-month Initial Enrollment Period—3 months before, your birthday month, and 3 months after you turn 65.

✅ 2. Already receiving Social Security?
You’ll typically be automatically enrolled in Medicare Part A and Part B.

✅ Not receiving Social Security yet?
You’ll need to manually enroll in Medicare through the Social Security Administration.

✅ 3. Still working and have employer coverage?
You may be able to delay enrolling in Part B without a penalty. It’s important to review your current coverage first.

✅ 4. Understand your coverage options:
• Original Medicare (Parts A & B)
• Medicare Advantage (Part C)
• Prescription Drug Plans (Part D)
• Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap)

✅ 5. Know what Original Medicare doesn’t cover:
Original Medicare does not include routine dental, vision, or hearing services. It also has cost-sharing for things like hospital stays and serious illnesses.

There are additional coverage options available that can help with certain out-of-pocket expenses.

✅ 6. Be aware of late enrollment penalties:
Delaying enrollment in Part B or Part D without other creditable coverage can lead to permanent penalties.
