We want to help you in an efficient manner. We will ask all Medicare customers to complete the required appointment request form—SCOPE OF APPOINTMENT, aka SOA—be submitted to us at least 2 days prior to the requested Consultation. This is a federal requirement, and we must stay compliant. We will send the SOA to you via email as soon as we book a consultation date with you.

The SOA documents that you personally requested our help. The SOA also identifies which product we will talk to you about. This is a consumer protection process required of the Federal government.

Medicare Beneficiaries need to pay attention to their prescription drug benefits during this year’s Annual Election Period. We are seeing significant changes to plan premiums. Agents can begin assisting members as early as October 1st.

The City of Charleston invites residents to join us for an important public meeting to discuss the proposed design for the new city offices at 1660 and 1662 Ingram Road in West Ashley.

At this meeting, city staff will share preliminary project designs and gather feedback from residents on design priorities, community needs, and other considerations.

Your input will help shape a project that serves the community for years to come.

We've had a fantastic Open Enrollment season here at Benefit Concepts and are very proud of the Elite Circle of Champions recognition that has been awarded to our team. This award is granted to agents who have helped 100 or more individuals with marketplace based health insurance benefits. 100+ members of our community received personalized education and guidance with their health insurance programs for the coming year. Open Enrollment is still OPEN. January 15th is the final call for all marketplace based activities.

Will my marketplace plan automatically renew? Do I really need to do anything?

Technically, yes, it will automatically renew.

And YES you need to do something about it. The premium tax credit is directly tied to income and we strongly recommend marketplace members actively renew, i.e. get involved in the process, talk to their broker, get a broker if they don't have one, and make sure everything is correct for 2024.
