I want to extend a huge thank you to the Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce for putting together such a meaningful event and to Lauren Gandy from Charleston County School District for taking the time to share about the “Be a Local” and “Children in Crisis” programs.

Hearing firsthand about the challenges some of our students and families face—and the incredible work being done to support them—was both eye-opening and deeply personal for me. These programs are making a real difference, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn more about how we can all help.

Looking forward to getting more involved and seeing the impact we can create together!

What a way to kick off 31! 🎉

Turned 31 on Thursday, then promptly tested my durability with an ankle sprain on Friday (not recommended). But if there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s that life has a way of balancing things out—because by Sunday, I was out with great friends on an incredible shark tooth hunting expedition with Coastal Expeditions, soaking up the adventure and making memories.

Grateful for the highs, the lows, and everything in between. If this first weekend of being 31 is any indication, it’s going to be a year of resilience, laughter, and discovery. Excited for what’s ahead! 💙🦷🌊
