Master Showmanship with Farm Bureau payouts.

Master showmanship is a competitive event where participants demonstrate their skills in handling and presenting livestock. Contestants are judged on their ability to showcase their animals, knowledge of the species, and overall presentation skills. Jessalyn pollitt won first place in the Junior showmanship, Atley Williams won first place in the Intermediate, and Levi Evans won first place in the Senior showmanship. They were all awarded $100.00 from Farm Bureau for their placement.

: Lucas County Farm Bureau holds pie contest at Lucas County Fair

The annual Farm Bureau Pie contest was held On July 26th. With lots of pies and contestants it was extremely successful!

The Grand Prize was won by Aubrey Rowe with her apple pie in the youth division. Charlotte Brown won first prize with her apple pie, and Erika Narber won second place with her apple pie. 3rd place was Hazel Price with her peach pie - at the age of 5!!

In the adult division, Aubrey Rowe won first place with her apple pie, 2nd place was Erika Narber with her strawberry pie, and 3rd place went to Aubrey Rowe again with her apple pie.

Rules for contest: Pies must be entered in the name of the person who made the pie.

Grand Prize - $100.00
1st place each Category- $50.00

Cash awards will be given out July 26th at the Grand Stand before evening entertainment.

After judging is complete, pies will be sliced and sold at the fair with proceeds being donated to the Lucas County Fair.
