Do You Need a Universal Guardian Trust and Guardian Guide?

Do you have a loved one with special needs or a disability requiring your care? If so, what do you have in place for their future upon your death?

Without a Universal Guardian Trust (UGT), passing assets to your loved one without one in place could disqualify them from current or future government benefits. The asset threshold in most areas of the country is only $2,000. Anything passed to your loved one above this amount upon your death could impact their ability to continue receiving current or future government benefits if a UGT is not in place. I don’t think you want to do that for your loved one, do you?
