We’re excited to announce Franklin McGowan’s promotion to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Prudent Growth.

Franklin joined our team in December 2022 as a Property Manager and has steadily advanced through our financial operations, most recently serving as Director of Finance. His experience across both property management and finance brings a unique perspective to his new leadership role.

As CFO, Franklin will oversee the firm's financial strategy, planning, and operations, helping guide Prudent Growth through its next chapter.

We’re excited to see Franklin take this next step and congratulate him on this well-deserved promotion!

Shopping habits have changed a lot over the years, but one thing hasn't: retailers still need to be where their customers are.

According to ICSC, major U.S. retailers have now announced more store openings than closures in 2026, a significant shift from this time last year.

For Prudent Growth, these numbers reinforce what we continue to see in the market: well-located shopping centers remain in demand, particularly as retailers compete for a limited supply of quality space.

A recent ICSC article highlights what we've been seeing across the industry: limited new supply and demand from a wide range of tenants continue to support strong fundamentals for retail real estate.

For Prudent Growth, it's another reminder of why we remain focused on well-located neighborhood shopping centers. When quality retail space is limited and tenants continue to seek locations that put them close to their customers, existing centers are well positioned to benefit.
