Angie Lawrence of our Chaska branch, and new Chaska Lions Club member, joined several of her fellow Lions this weekend, in a highway cleanup project. They came armed with tools and bags, on a sunny afternoon, and helped our Mother Earth feel cleaner! Thanks to all for your efforts!

Samantha and Angie played bingo with the Seniors at the Chaska Lodge earlier this week. Apparently, Samantha was so popular she got a few hugs at the end of the day! That counts as a bingo, right? A hug is a win! Thanks ladies, for helping make the day special!

Xander, of our Chaska branch, experienced his first trip volunteering with Chaska Area Fishing with Friends, a local non-profit that takes groups of youngsters and seniors out on Lake Minnetonka to fish! Congratulations on your first day-hope it's a warmer one for your next venture out onto the water!

Last weekend, Amanda, Mel, and Angie volunteered at Christmas in May. They have been volunteering for the past 9 years. Christmas in May Chaska is a local non-profit organization that coordinates a one-day project to rehabilitate the homes of Chaska residents who do not have the financial or physical ability to maintain their homes. The organization relies on volunteers to do the work, which includes skilled and unskilled labor. This was the 30th anniversary of Christmas in May Chaska! Nice work team!
